INTY recently hosted another client visit this month, focusing on the challenges of automating their packaging line. The client was looking to upgrade their production efficiency with automatic strip-feeding machines, but faced a major hurdle: the inherent stickiness of standard universal-adhesive one-piece induction liners.

The Challenge: Automation vs. Adhesion
The client wanted to run universal-adhesive one-piece induction liners on an automatic strip-feeding machine. However, the adhesive layer on standard universal liners is naturally tacky. When stacked or fed through high-speed automation, this tackiness causes the liners to stick together-leading to machine jams, misfeeds, and costly production downtime.

The Solution: Anti-Stick Universal-Adhesive Induction Liners
To solve this, our technical team introduced the client to INTY's anti-stick version of our universal-adhesive one-piece induction liner.
By applying a special anti-stick membrane, we eliminated the surface tackiness without compromising the induction sealing performance. The liners now glide smoothly through automated strip-feeding equipment, allowing the client to achieve the speed and efficiency of automation without worrying about liners clumping together.

Exploring the Portfolio: Lift N Peel and Ring Peel Liners
Beyond solving the automation challenge, the visit was also an opportunity to explore INTY's broader range of specialized liners. Our team presented a wide variety of physical samples, allowing the client to evaluate the peel mechanics firsthand.
Lift N Peel Induction Foil Liners
Designed with a flexible, strong polyester tab, this liner offers an effortless opening experience. The built-in tab allows consumers to easily lift and peel the seal in one smooth motion. It is highly versatile, suitable for food, pharma, personal care, and industrial packaging. The client was able to see how customizable tab colors and logos can enhance brand identity.

Ring Peel (Apple Peel) Induction Foil Liners
Engineered with an innovative "apple peel" design, this liner features a ring-shaped pull tab. When pulled, the foil spirals away just like peeling an apple, leaving a clean ring on the container opening. It offers reliable, leak-proof, and tamper-evident sealing. This design was particularly interesting to the client for its clean removal ("no residue") and its applications in oils, motor oils, and skincare products.

The client was able to physically inspect and test the different peel mechanics of each sample, helping them determine the best fit for various products in their pipeline.
Moving Forward
The client left the facility with a comprehensive sample kit. We are currently preparing specific trial batches of the anti-stick universal-adhesive induction liners for their automated line testing. This visit reinforced INTY's commitment to not just supplying liners, but engineering solutions that fit our customers' specific machinery and production goals.
