INTY recently welcomed a delegation from a stationery brand to our manufacturing facility. The visit focused on finding the right sealing solution for their new line of premium products, where both visual presentation and leak prevention are critical.
The Challenge: When Aesthetics Meet Functionality
Stationery products-such as high-end inks, correction fluids, and specialized adhesives-often come in beautifully designed bottles. For this client, a standard silver foil liner simply didn't match the premium look they wanted. Furthermore, they needed a reliable seal that didn't require them to invest in new induction sealing equipment for their filling line.
The Solution: Aluminized Pressure-Sensitive Liners
After evaluating the client's bottles and product formulations, our technical team recommended our Aluminized Pressure-Sensitive Liners (PS liners).
Unlike traditional induction seals, these liners combine a robust metallized layer with PS foam. This unique structure delivers three distinct advantages for the stationery sector:
- Premium Finish: The metallized layer provides a high-end, metallic look that matches the elegant design of their bottles, creating a better unboxing experience for the end consumer.
- Equipment-Free Application: The built-in adhesive allows for a press-to-seal application. The client can simply torque the cap to seal-no induction sealing machine is required, saving them equipment costs and floor space.
- Multi-Material Fit: The client used a mix of glass, plastic, and metal bottles across their product range. The aluminized PS liner provided excellent compatibility across all these materials, while its excellent tear resistance ensures the liner doesn't break apart upon opening.
During the visit, the client observed our lab testing process and reviewed a sealing video demonstrating the liner's peel force and integrity on their specific bottle samples.
Moving Forward
The client was highly satisfied with the sample performance. The aluminized PS liner successfully passed their initial tests, and we are now moving forward with production samples for their filling line trials.
