INTY supports the supply of customized PE foam liners, including EPE foam discs, rings and laminated foam liners for different packaging applications.
Made from food-grade EPE foam, our foam liners offer good compressibility and cushioning properties. They can help fill the space between caps and container openings, provide a cushioning layer and support reliable closure performance.
With different thicknesses, densities, shapes and lamination options available, we can provide foam liner solutions according to your packaging requirements.

EPE Foam Material and Specifications
Our PE foam liners use food-grade EPE (Expanded Polyethylene) foam as the core material.
The available specifications include:
| Parameter | Specification |
|---|---|
| Raw Material | Food-grade EPE Foam |
| Thickness | 0.6 / 1 / 1.2 / 1.5 / 2 / 3 mm (Customized) |
| Density | 250–400 kg/m³ |
| Shape | Round / Ring / Customized |
| Compression Rate | 20%–40% |
| Lamination | PE / PET / PP film |
| Lamination Sides | Single-sided / Double-sided |
A third-party test report for the EPE raw material is also available for reference, providing additional material information for customers evaluating their packaging requirements.

Double-Sided Laminated EPE Foam Liners
In addition to standard EPE foam discs and rings, we support different film lamination options. Double-sided lamination applies a film layer to both surfaces of the foam core, creating different surface finishes and material combinations.

PE Double-Sided Laminated EPE Foam
- Structure: PE + EPE + PE
- PE film is laminated to both sides of the EPE foam core. As PE and EPE belong to the same polyethylene family, their good compatibility allows the lamination to significantly improve the foam's tear and tensile resistance, making the material more resistant to damage. It also facilitates heat-sealing for a neater, stronger edge and enables surface printing. This option is suitable for customers who require a PE film surface on both sides of the foam liner.
PET Double-Sided Laminated EPE Foam
- Structure: PET + EPE + PET
- PET film is laminated to both sides of the EPE foam core. Compared with an unlaminated foam disc, the film layers provide a firmer overall feel and a different surface finish. As a reference, its hardness typically ranges around 78–82 HA; when laminated, it helps enhance the overall rigidity of the finished liner, while improving surface strength, abrasion resistance and puncture resistance to reduce scratches or damage during handling. The smooth, non-porous surface also helps repel stains. This option suits protective applications that require a certain rigidity and a durable surface.
PP Double-Sided Laminated EPE Foam
- Structure: PP + EPE + PP
- PP film is laminated to both sides of the EPE foam core. PP film itself offers good abrasion and scratch resistance, acting as a physical barrier against external friction to protect the foam body and prevent foam debris from adhering to the product. As a reference, its hardness typically ranges around 76–80 HA; when laminated, it likewise helps enhance the overall rigidity of the finished liner. The film layer also effectively blocks liquids and stains for easy cleaning. It provides another film material option for customized foam liner applications.
The final feel and rigidity of a laminated liner depend on the film grade and thickness, as well as the EPE foam density and overall construction. The hardness values above are reference values for the film material itself; the actual hardness of the finished product will vary with the laminated construction.
