INTY has completed SGS testing on its packaging materials in accordance with the EU Packaging and Packaging Waste Regulation (PPWR), confirming compliance with heavy metals requirements for the European market. This follows previous SGS testing on our pressure sensitive liners for PFAS compliance.
The testing, conducted in August 2026, covered a comprehensive range of packaging components used in INTY's export shipments - including cartons, plywood pallets, plastic packing tapes, labels, adhesive tapes, plastic films, bags, EPE foam pads, and composite films. All 12 tested samples were evaluated against PPWR requirements for total lead, cadmium, mercury, and hexavalent chromium content under Article 5(4).

All Samples Passed Heavy Metals Testing
The test results confirmed that all 12 packaging samples met the PPWR limit of 100 mg/kg for total lead, cadmium, mercury, and hexavalent chromium. The majority of samples returned ND (Not Detected) results for individual heavy metals, confirming full compliance with the regulation's requirements.

Fluorine Screening Available Upon Request
In addition to heavy metals testing, total fluorine screening was also performed on the packaging samples. The full test results, including fluorine data, are available upon request for customers who require complete documentation for their supply chain compliance.
What This Means for INTY's Export Operations
The testing confirms that INTY's packaging materials meet PPWR compliance criteria, supporting customers' supply chain documentation needs for the European market. INTY's pressure sensitive liners have also passed SGS PFAS total fluorine screening, providing documented compliance evidence for both products and packaging.
INTY continues to invest in third-party testing and certification to support customers' regulatory compliance requirements. The facility holds ISO 9001, HACCP, and BRCGS certifications, with production in a 5,000+ sqm food-grade dust-proof factory.
