INTY Pressure Sensitive Liners Pass PPWR Testing
INTY has received SGS test results confirming that its pressure sensitive foam liners (IPS1.2) meet the heavy metals requirements of the EU Packaging and Packaging Waste Regulation (PPWR).
The testing, conducted in September 2026, evaluated the liner samples against Article 5(4) of Regulation (EU) 2025/40. All four regulated heavy metals - lead, cadmium, mercury, and hexavalent chromium - returned ND (Not Detected) results. The total combined content was also ND, well below the PPWR limit of 100 mg/kg.
This follows previous testing on INTY's packaging materials, which also passed PPWR heavy metals requirements. Together, these results provide documented compliance for customers exporting to the European market.
